Booking Your Tour

What is your cancellation policy?
We allow cancellations up until 24 hours before your schedule tour departure time for most tours. There are no refunds issued for cancellations inside of 24 hours. Any tours requiring 48 hour cancellation will be cleary noted in the tour description.
I'm traveling with a group. Can you accommodate all of us?
Yes! We have worked to organize tours for many larger groups. Email [email protected] with a few more details about your party and we can help find the best itinerary, private tours and more for your group.
The tour I want isn’t showing availability.
If the tour you are interested in is not showing availability on our website, please contact us to speak with an agent as we may still be able to accommodate you.

Preparing For Your Tour

Are there any age or fitness restrictions for paddleboarding?
Paddleboarding is suitable for participants of various age groups and fitness levels. However, we recommend that participants be at least 12 years old to fully enjoy the activity. It is essential to have a reasonable level of physical mobility and the ability to stand on the paddleboard comfortably. As with all water-based activities, guests should have a basic level of swimming ability. For younger participants or those seeking a more relaxed experience, the catamaran's deck provides a fantastic vantage point to enjoy the paddleboarding action.
Is snorkeling experience required to participate in the activity?
No, prior snorkeling experience is not required. Our snorkeling activity is suitable for beginners and experts alike. The crew will provide basic instructions and safety guidelines before you enter the water. Our team is dedicated to ensuring that everyone feels comfortable and confident during the snorkeling session, making it an enjoyable experience for all.
I don't have a confirmation email.
Once you have booked your tour and we have received all of the necessary information from you, you will be emailed a confirmation with a voucher attached. The voucher is what you need to print and take with you, or have pulled up on your phone, as it contains your detailed meeting instructions. If you have not received a confirmation email, please make sure that we have received all of the necessary information from you. Many tours require additional sizing information before we can officially confirm the booking. For these tours, submitting payment does not confirm your booking, we need all of the necessary information before we can book your tour. Please log into your account or contact us to finalize these details. If you have submitted the required information and still have not received this confirmation, please contact us.
Will the trip still operate if it is raining?
Our tours operate rain or shine. The wet season typically takes place during May - October and rain can quickly come and go throughout the day. Always be prepared for rain!With that said, safety is our guide’s first priority and if weather conditions are unsafe, the trip will be canceled and we will provide a refund. This typically only happens with boat tours and we will notify as quickly as we can when we suspect a tour may be canceled due to weather.
Is transportation provided?
This depends on the tour. Many of our tours include roundtrip transportation from your Cancun or Riviera Maya hotel or a nearby centralized meeting point. This information is provided on each individual tour page and detailed meeting instructions are provided on your tour voucher.
Can I bring my own paddleboard for the activity?
While we provide paddleboarding equipment as part of the tour package, you are welcome to bring your own paddleboard if you prefer. However, we highly recommend using our high-quality paddleboarding equipment, ensuring the best experience and safety. Our paddleboards are designed to offer stability and ease of use, making them ideal for beginners and those seeking a peaceful paddleboarding experience. Our crew will be on hand to assist you in getting started and ensuring your enjoyment during the activity.
What if my tour is canceled due to weather?
When a tour is canceled due to weather, your guide will contact you via cell phone. If they are not able to reach you, they will be at the meeting location to inform you that the tour cannot operate due to weather conditions. Our tour operators notify us within 24 hours of the tour being canceled, at which time we issue the refund. The refund can take 5-10 days to show up on your credit card statement.
Can I bring my own snacks and drinks on the catamaran?
We kindly ask that you refrain from bringing outside food and beverages on board during the sailing portion of the tour. Our catamaran offers an open bar with a variety of premium beverages, including refreshing cocktails and non-alcoholic options. Additionally, light snacks and appetizers will be provided during the trip. Your satisfaction is our top priority, and we strive to cater to your needs with our selection of onboard refreshments.
Do I need to know how to swim to participate in the snorkeling activity?
Yes, basic swimming ability is required to participate in the snorkeling activity. While you don't need to be an expert swimmer, you should be comfortable being in the water and have basic swimming skills. The use of life vests is available for added safety, and our experienced guides will be on hand to assist and ensure a safe and enjoyable snorkeling experience for all participants.

My child is just below the required weight/age restriction. Can they still attend?
Due to safety regulations, many of our tours are strict on the requirements. There are some exceptions, so please make sure to speak with an agent about the tour you are interested in.
Do you provide food?
Many of our tours provide food, ranging from light snacks to feasts. These details are mentioned on the individual tour pages. Additionally, many can accommodate dietary restrictions, but make sure to let us know ahead of time. Check out our tours that focus on local food & drinks!
How stable is the catamaran?
The catamaran is designed for stability and offers a smooth sailing experience. With its twin-hull structure, it provides excellent balance on the water, reducing the chances of rocking or swaying. Whether you're an experienced sailor or new to boating, you can rest assured that our catamaran will offer a comfortable and enjoyable ride along the coastline of Playa del Carmen.

Am I guaranteed to see wildlife?
While wildlife is abundant in Caribbean Mexico and you are very likely to see a variety during your excursions, nature is hard to predict. We'd recommend some of the marine based tours, such as snorkeling, for the best chances to experience wildlife.

What are your hours of operation?
We are in the office 7 days a week, from 9:00 AM – 6:00 PM Cancun time. Feel free to call, chat or email.
Are you locally based in Mexico?
We are headquartered in the United States, but we have team members based in Caribbean Mexico. Our local team helps discover the very best things to do and partner with only the very top local tour operators. We also visit all our destinations so we can personally vet the tours, write tips and create videos of the tours so you can discover your perfect itinerary before you arrive.

Pricing FAQs

Do you offer discounts for booking multiple tours?
We strive to offer the lowest prices possible and don't have any additional discounts available. However, if you have a group of 20 or more you may reach out to us by email or phone to discuss a group discount.
What is Book Now/Pay Later?
The Book Now, Pay Later option requires a 5% non-refundable deposit at the time of booking. You will see this option during checkout. The remaining balance is automatically processed two days before the date of the first tour on your invoice. You will receive an email reminding you of this payment five days beforehand. You must contact us before this date if you need to update your payment method. If your card is declined, your reservation will be canceled.
Can I pay in cash?
We require payment at the time of booking and do not accept cash. We accept all credit cards including American Express.
Should I tip my guide?
Your driver and guides do appreciate tips if they have provided an excellent service. This is entirely up to you.
