After departing from Cancun, you’ll spend around an hour cutting through the azure blue waters as the winds fill your sails and carry you to the tropical island that sits about 8 miles off the coast. Stop to snorkel and see impressive corals, colorful fish and enjoy the pleasant waters of the Caribbean. Once onshore, enjoy a delicious buffet and open bar with a variety of traditional mexican food suited for all. Relax under the full palm trees of the beautiful natural beaches.

Next, you will have time to walk and shop. Explore some of the many souvenir shops and designer boutiques on the island, which is roughly ½ mile wide and 7 miles long. Is transportation to the boat included?

You bet! You will be picked up at your hotel in the Cancun area. Be on the lookout for a confirmation with the specific time the day before the tour. In the unlikely event you miss the pickup, you can go to Marina Chac Chi, Km 3. 2, Blvd. Kukulcan at 9AM.

Is there shopping on Isla Mujeres?

Yes, there are plenty of opportunities to buy artisanal crafts and designer boutiques on Isla Mujeres. Jewelry, beachwear and souvenirs abound.

How long do we snorkel?

The snorkeling lasts around 30 minutes before heading to lunch. It's a great way to refresh and see some underwater statues, but it is not the main focus of this tour.

Will I get sea sick?

Generally, the waters between Cancun and Isla Mujeres are very calm. If you are highly prone to getting seasick it is always a good idea to have Dramamine or other medication with you just in case and drink lots of water to stay hydrated!
