After pickup at the port or your Belize City hotel, you'll drive inland with your private guide to start a wildlife journey at the Belize Zoo. This hidden gem is teeming with wonder! You spend about 20-30 minutes underground viewing stalgmites and then a relaxing river float in the open air back to your starting location.

How far do we need to hike for the Belize cave tubing?

It is approximately a 30-45 minute walk through the jungle to get to the entry point. you will cross one river, duck through caves and this is a truly wonderful part of the experience! Not wheelchair accessible.

Are the animals treated well at the zoo?

Yes, the main aim of the Belize Zoo is to look after the animals in a habitat that mirrors their own, where they are cared for by knowledgeable, trained staff, and where visitors can learn about them in a safe environment. There are some animal experiences, like toucan and leopard encounters, but these are well managed to minimize stress for the animals.

Is this tour fully private?

You will have a private guide and vehicle from Belize City to the caves and zipline area. Once on the cave tubing portion of the trip you may be paired up with others as you descend the river.
